An 18-year-old girl died Sunday after collapsing on Lake Shore Boulevard near the end of the GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon.

Police say the girl was without vital signs after she collapsed and attempts were made to revive her. She was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The teen, who was visiting Toronto, died of health-related issues, police said.

A man also collapsed during the race around 10:30 a.m. In that case bystanders at the scene performed CPR and paramedics were able to resuscitate the man. He was taken to hospital and police said later Sunday his condition is stable.

The identity of the teen who died has not been released.
