Three people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle collision in the city’ west end.

It happened on Steeles Avenue near Keele Street at about 6:15 a.m.

Reports from the scene indicate that at least one person was initially trapped in a vehicle.

Two people – a male and a female – were transported to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Toronto Paramedic Services said.

Another male patient was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Several lanes of Steeles Avenue were closed due to the crash.
