Toronto police say a 30-year-old man is facing 56 charges in connection with a string of break-ins at apartment storage lockers across the GTA.

Over the past six months, investigators say a man has been walking into various apartment buildings and steal items from storage lockers inside.

Police say an arrest was made in the case on May 19.

Toronto resident Jonathan Lloyd has been charged with 45 counts of breaking and entering, four counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and seven counts of possession of break-in instruments.

Police recovered a large quantity of property during the investigation and residents of 10 Mendelssohn Street, 757 Victoria Park Avenue, 1080 Kingston Road, 3520 Danforth Avenue, 1004 Lawrence Avenue East, and 2250 Lawrence Avenue East can view and reclaim recovered items by visiting 41 Division, located at 2222 Eglinton Avenue East, on Friday between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.
