Twenty-five streetcars have been taken out of service due to problems caused by the extreme cold.
Frigid temperatures have caused some of the TTC’s older streetcars to have problems with frozen brake lines and doors, making it necessary to temporarily pull them out of service.
Buses will also be used to supplement streetcar service, according to the TTC.
