Twin giant panda cubs born at the Toronto Zoo turned one month old Friday, with their fur growing in to reveal their storied black and white coat.

Toronto Zoo staff says the larger of the pair weighs more than one kilogram, while the smaller one weighs in at about 750 grams.

The twin panda cubs were born Oct. 13 to panda Er Shun, who arrived at the Toronto Zoo with male panda Da Mao from China in 2013. Their births marked the first time giant pandas were born in Canada.

The gender of the twin cubs is not yet known, and will not be known until several more months have passed.

Er Shun is expected to stay at the Toronto Zoo with Da Mao until 2018, when they will move to the Calgary Zoo.
