Halton police have impounded two exotic cars following a traffic stop in Burlington Sunday afternoon.
The stop occurred at Guelph Line and Colling Road at around 4 p.m.
According to police, the vehicles – a Lamborghini Huracan and a McLaren Spider – were recorded travelling at 135 kilometres per hour in a 60 kilometre per hour zone.
“The exotic cars were impounded for seven days and the (drivers) charged with stunt driving,” police said in a release Sunday night.
Police listed the combined value of the cars at nearly $500,000.
