Two men have been charged in connection with seven gas station robberies that occurred within a 24-hour period in Brampton last week.

According to police, the following seven locations were struck between 12:15 a.m. and 11:20 p.m. on Monday:

• 9 Bovaird Dr.

• 354A Queen Str. W.

• 121 Kennedy Rd. N.

• 7995 Kennedy Rd. S.

• 7995 Dixie Rd.

• 27 McMurchy Ave. N.

• 200 Sandalwood Parkway

In each case, one man allegedly entered the kiosk, brandished an edged weapon, and made a demand for cash. The second man waited outside in a waiting vehicle, police said.

In one robbery, a 66-year-old gas station attendant sustained minor injuries.

Two suspects were arrested on July 18 in connection with the robberies.

Ronald Leisander, 26, of no fixed addressed, and 27-year-old Brampton resident Peter Campbell are each charged with seven counts of robbery.
