MEAFORD, Ont. -- The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office and provincial police are investigating after two people are unaccounted for after a structure fire in Meaford, Ont.
Firefighters discovered the fire (on the 8 Concession N. between Hwy. 26 and Sideroad 22) at about 6 p.m. on Friday, after a local resident visited the property and found that a home had been destroyed.
Police say two people known to live in the home, 59-year-old Urmas Aarne Polli and 51-year-old Denise Deborah Kelly, are unaccounted for.
OPP are asking anyone with information which may assist with the investigation to call police.
