A section of Yonge Street has been shut down between King and Wellington streets after a water main break.
Police tweeted about the break around 2:15 a.m.
Pictures from the scene showed water gushing down part of the street.
Crews were able to shut off the water by around 3:15 a.m., however the street remains closed due to major damage to the roadway.
Police are suggesting people avoid the area.
