Residents in an Etobicoke neighbourhood awoke to find a stretch of Martin Grove Road transformed into a popup waterway Sunday morning.
A water main break has sent reams of water gushing down the roadway, covering the entire width of the street in some areas.
The break happened around 7:30 a.m.
Police said Martin Grove Road has been closed from Saralou Court to Rathburn Road as a crew comes to fix the break.
They said a sink hole has also formed in the area.
There have been no reports of damage to area homes so far.
