For the fifth time in recent days, a bomb threat has been made against a WestJet flight.
The latest incident involves a flight travelling from Las Vegas to Victoria, B.C. Thursday.
The flight landed safely in Victoria, with passengers being held in customs while police searched the aircraft.
“Screening on (Flight) WS1709 was done out of an abundance of caution,” the airline said in a tweet Thursday night.
WesJet said it worked with regulatory and law enforcement agencies who determined the threat was not credible.
“RCMP to proceed with criminal mischief investigation,” WestJet said over Twitter.
