A woman was transported to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed by her sister in Etobicoke this afternoon.
It happened in The West Mall and Holiday Drive area at around 4:30 p.m.
According to police, the incident stemmed from a family dispute involving the two adult women.
The victim sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
A woman was taken into custody and charged with assault with a weapon in connection with the incident.
Police continue to investigate.
