Toronto police are looking for a suspect in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in a hydro field corridor not far from Finch subway station.

In a written statement, police said that a 30-year-old woman was walking in the corridor north of Finch Avenue between Bathurst and Yonge streets on Thursday, Sept. 11 around 7:30 p.m.

The woman was approached from behind by a man who threw her to the ground and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 to 35 years old, 220 lbs and 5'10" – 5'11" with short black hair and facial hair on his lower jaw. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and a dark hoodie.
