A man in his fifties has died after being transported to hospital following a shooting near Midland and Lawrence Avenues on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say they were called just after 1 p.m. and found the man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder at Indoor Auto Wash and Detailing Centre.
A suspect was seen running to the rear of the building but has not been arrested.
Police say the suspect is a black male, about six foot four and he was wearing a t-shirt and shorts
Investigators say the suspect could still be armed with a handgun. The Emergency Task Force was dispatched to the scene.
Officers are viewing surveillance footage from the business.
The victim's identity has not been released. This is the city's 27th murder of the year.
