Where Jim McMillan on the Big Issues Facing Toronto:

1. How would you tackle the city's financial challenges?

My plans for the budget are found in the ‘McMillan Proclamation,' it is the proclamation of 1500 people who went to Queens Park, on the 17th of July and discussed what they want for our city. The budget is covered by our savings. I agree with Mr. Rob Ford that we do not need 44 councilors, it makes it too hard to run a city.

2. What would you do with the city's tax rate?

Our plan for taxes is to get rid of that sixty dollars for people who keep their car in the garage in Toronto. It's not them who are polluting it's the outsiders.

3. What would you do to lower the city's crime rate?

We will reduce crime by 50% in the city, by having the police officers live in the city closer to the crime areas.

4. What are your thoughts on Transit City?

I am for transit city as we spend from the fare box. Sarah Thompson and Rob Ford are really the only two who have a plan for our city.

5. Should the city be painting more bike lanes?

That's the greatest thing we ever did, its the only thing mayoral miller did for us as a city.

6. How would you go about cleaning up the city?

If the policemen are living in the city, we have 5500 policemen, if they are spread around the city then they can keep pollution levels down.

7. What would you do to improve transparency inside city hall?

Everything will be open, it will be online.

8. What is your big idea for the city?

I want to show that this city is the greatest city in the world.
