No injuries were reported after a garbage truck crashed into a house in the Leaside area Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called at about 1 p.m. after the vehicle slammed into a home at 25 Annesley Ave. near Eglinton and Bayview avenues.
Witnesses say the unmanned truck accidentally rolled backwards down Annesley Avenue, first colliding with two vans before causing structural damage to the house.
An investigation is underway to determine what caused the truck to roll away on its own.
