Ontario Provincial Police are on the scene of a serious accident on Highway 401 at Port Union.
There have been reports that one person has died as a result of the accident. Three childeren between the ages of three and six have been taken to hospital. Their mother was also transported to hospital with leg injuries.
The accident happened at about 12 p.m. The vehicle was travelling on a collector lane when it flipped over onto an express lane.
All eastbound lanes between Port Union and Meadowvale were closed for several hours, but have since reopened. Eastbound collector lanes remain closed.
