TORONTO - Oprah Winfrey is bringing her life lessons north of the border for a TV event sure to rank among her Canadian fans' favourite things.

The 58-year-old TV legend has added Toronto as the latest stop on "Oprah's Lifeclass Tour."

A portion of the day-long event will be broadcast live on April 16 on the talk giant's network, OWN.

Winfrey will take the stage at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to talk to viewers in person and online about the lessons that guide her life.

She'll be joined by a group of inspirational figures including Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Bishop T.D. Jakes and author Iyanla Vanzant.

Tickets are available now and range in price from $49 for festival seating to $395 for a spot by the stage.

The self-help program "Oprah's Lifeclass" premiered in October, going on to win an NAACP Image Award for its inaugural season.

Winfrey decided to take the show on the road for its six-episode second run, which premieres March 26 from St. Louis.
