BALTIMORE - Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki was activated from the disabled list by the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday morning.

Tulowitzki, who travelled with the team to Baltimore, was available to play against the Orioles on Saturday afternoon.

He had been out with a sore right quadricep since May 27.

Tulowitzki was hitting .204 with eight home runs and 23 runs batted in before he was placed on the DL.

Infielder Andy Burns was optioned to triple-A Buffalo to make room for Tulowitzki on the roster.

Burns did not reach base in six at bats with the Blue Jays this season.
