TORONTO - One of the alleged ringleaders of the violent protests during the G20 summit in Toronto is due in court today after being accused of breaching his bail conditions.

Alex Hundert's lawyer says the 30-year-old was arrested after taking part in a panel discussion at Ryerson University on issues connected to the G20.

John Norris says Hundert is accused of breaching a bail condition that he not participate in any public demonstration.

Norris is challenging the new charge, saying it is a misunderstanding of the conditions.

Norris also says the Crown will likely move to have Hundert's bail on the previous charges revoked, but vows to fight the attempt.

Hundert faces three charges of conspiracy.
