TORONTO - Days before the release of his third album, Justin Bieber will perform at the MuchMusic Video Awards.

The 18-year-old pop star from Stratford, Ont., is the latest performer announced for this year's MMVAs, which will be held June 17 outside Much headquarters in Toronto.

That's just two days before the much-anticipated release of "Believe," Bieber's third full-length which will feature the No. 1 single, "Boyfriend."

Breakout pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen -- whose hit "Call Me Maybe" has topped the charts in Canada and around the world -- will also perform. The Mission, B.C., native is also up for four awards.

Victoria's Nelly Furtado and Vancouver pop outfit Marianas Trench have also been added to the lineup for the show, which will also feature performances from Katy Perry and party-dance duo LMFAO, who are set to co-host the bash.

Marianas Trench leads with seven nominations going into the show, while Toronto rapper Drake and Hedley from Abbotsford, B.C., are next with five nominations apiece.
