Newspaper reports say City of Toronto Councillor Sandra Bussin has apologized after she called in to a local talk radio show where she heaped praise on Mayor David Miller and called John Tory a “three-time loser,” without mentioning she is a city councillor or giving her last name.
Bussin called CFRB Newstalk 1010’s John Tory show last Friday, solely identifying herself as "Sandra from Toronto."
During the phone call, she repeatedly denied working for the city.
John Tory has previously run for mayor and is mulling another run for the post.
