CP24 took home the Gord Sinclair Award for Live Special Event coverage during the annual Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) awards gala in Halifax Saturday night.
The award recognizes CP24's coverage of the October municipal election.
"No other production in a newsroom involves the whole team like an election, so this is a great honour for the whole newsroom," Managing Producer Brian Carr said in accepting the award.
Overall Bell Media took home eight RTNDA awards. That's more than any other Canadian media organization.
