Durham Regional Police are investigating a string of possible animal cruelty incidents after a decapitated rabbit was found outside a school in Clarington.
Police said three mutilated rabbits have been found near Good Shepherd Catholic School on Farmington Drive in the last year.
In the latest incident, police believe a blunt object was used to remove the rabbit's head.
The first rabbit was found a year ago, while the second was discovered last spring.
