The QEW's Toronto-bound (eastbound) lanes have reopened at Winston Churchill Boulevard in Mississauga by following a multi-vehicle crash that injured four people.

Police said four males were taken to hospital with various injuries after a van and tractor-trailer were involved in a collision Wednesday at about 5:15 a.m.

One of the males is in life-threatening condition.

The tractor-trailer, hauling a load of televisions, was blocking all lanes after it rolled onto its side, resulting in the immediate closure of the Toronto-bound lanes.

Cranes were used to lift the tractor-trailer and set it back on its wheels to be towed away, along with the badly-damaged van.

Toronto-bound traffic is being diverted onto Winston Churchill Boulevard, while the ramp from Winston Churchill Boulevard to the QEW is also closed, police said.
