Toronto police say they have found the vehicle associated with a child abduction investigation after a mother took her three children during a semi-supervised visit on Friday.
On Friday morning, police responded to a parental abduction call in the area of Midland Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East in Scarborough.
Officers say that 22-year-old mother Somerda Miclescu was visiting her three children, 4-month-old Anastasia, 3-year-old Irina, and 6-year-old Daniel, at a relative’s home when she took them and fled.
Miclescu does not have legal custody of the children, police say. She is wanted for parental abduction.

On Saturday, police said she was believed to be driving a 2017 white Ford Expedition.
In a news release Monday, police said they had located the vehicle at an unspecified location. Officers say the vehicle’s owner, Ionut Stroe, 25, of Toronto, is considered a person of interest in the investigation.
Stroe is also wanted by police on separate charges of failing to comply with a release order.
Police described Miclescu as five-foot-seven and weighing 180 pounds, with long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a long black shirt and a dark-coloured top.
Stroe is described as five-foot-11, weighing about 235 pounds, with a tattoo on his right forearm.

Anyone with information about the location of the missing children is asked to contact police.
