The main contenders for the city's top job are making a last minute push for support with just one day to go before the big vote.

The race to City Hall ends on Monday, as the polls open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Toronto residents will choose a new mayor, city council and a slate of school board trustees.

Eligible voters will need to have identification that proves their name, signature and current Toronto address. Homeless people are allowed to vote in the district where they most frequently returned to eat or sleep in the past five weeks.

The three leading candidates for Toronto mayor – Rob Ford, George Smitherman and Joe Pantalone -- are all on the campaign trail this weekend, trying to secure last minute votes.
