A man in his 20s is recovering after he was shot in the lower back near Black Creek Drive and Weston Road on Tuesday night.
Toronto police said the shooting occurred outdoors in the 100 block of Humber Boulevard at about 9:25 p.m.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the motive and looking for the gunman, who fled after the incident.
Investigators are looking for a black male who was wearing dark clothing, police said.
