Toronto police are investigating whether a medical condition is responsible for a fatal crash in Etobicoke early Friday morning.

A man in his 50s died in a "very low-speed impact" collision with a pole, police told CP24.

Investigators are conducting a full reconstruction of the crash and are awaiting a report from a coroner to confirm the cause of death.

Police said the crash occurred at Dixon Road and Carlingview Drive at about 3 a.m.

The man was rushed to Etobicoke General Hospital.

His name hasn't been released.
