The city's top five mayoral candidates converged on CP24 on Tuesday night for the third installment in our channel's live debate series.
Rob Ford, Joe Pantalone, Rocco Rossi, George Smitherman and Sarah Thomson were joined by moderator Stephen LeDrew and hosts Ben Mulroney and Melissa Grelo. CTV Toronto's Naomi Parness and CP24's Farah Nasser took to the streets to get your reaction.
On the docket were the issues of taxes and the city's reaction to the security measures taken during the G20. Most of the candidates appeared to be trying to chip away at Ford's reported lead in the polls.
Things got personal on several occasions throughout the debate. Thompson criticized Ford's aversion to spending by asking if he would buy a new suit, while Ford responded by calling her a "nice lady" with no political experience.
