TORONTO - A 38-year-old computer security expert is out on bail today after months in custody in a case related to G20 security.

Byron Sonne of Toronto was released this afternoon on a $250,000 recognizance, 10 months after being charged with possessing explosive substances.

His parents are to act as his sureties and a number of restrictions are being imposed.

Sonne was arrested last June 22, just days before world leaders descended on Toronto for the G20 summit.

His arrest came after he posted photos of the security fence and surveillance cameras around the summit site to his Twitter account.

Justice Ian MacDonnell has ordered that Sonne reside with his parents and remain in the house except to meet with his lawyer or for medical emergencies.
