Moonie Ali, the mother of a 15-year-old boy who was murdered five years ago, is in court fighting the parole of one of her son's killers.

Terrence Ali was beaten to death during a Caribana party, and his body was dumped in Lake Ontario near Rouge Hill GO Station on September 4, 2003.

Autopsy results showed he died from blunt force trauma to his neck, chest and head.

One of the boy's three killers, a man who was 17 at the time, is seeking early release after serving five years of his ten year sentence.

Final arguments in the case will be heard on Sept. 17.
