Police have arrested Toronto man Kyle Weese, who was wanted in connection with the Oct. 25 shooting death of Bailey Zaveda outside a Leslieville bar.

Weese, 24, turned himself in to police at 55 Division before 8 p.m. Tuesday. Police say he went inside the police station with a two students from his lawyer's office.

Police say Weese has been charged with second degree murder and four counts of attempted murder.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for Weese after he fled the scene of the shooting, where six people were injured.

Zaveda, 23, was having a cigarette outside the Duke of York Tavern when she was shot and killed.

Police say two men got into a fight on the street, when one of them pulled out a gun and fired over a dozen shots into the crowd at about 1 a.m. Saturday.

Weese will be appearing in a downtown court on Wednesday morning.
