Several election-type signs appeared on University Avenue early Tuesday morning, but these weren't your typical lawn signs.
The signs printed with black letters on white material read "Wife-beating, racist drunk for Mayor!" They were found posted in the median garden on University Avenue just north of Dundas Street.
The signs were spotted early Tuesday morning and mysteriously disappeared just before 6 a.m. It's not clear who put them up.
