Police have identified two more “persons of interest” in last week’s Etobicoke shooting that left two high school students dead.

Police previously released security camera images of five individuals who may be connected to the incident. On Sunday, investigators released stills of two more possible suspects.

The shooting occurred near the School of Experiential Education near Islington Avenue and Dixon Road shortly after noon on Oct. 6. Zaid Yousif, a 17-year-old Don Bosco Catholic Secondary School student, and Michael Menjivar, a 15-year-old student of James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School, were killed in the shooting.

Police say they believe the shooting was “targeted” and officers have yet to recover a weapon.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Homicide Det. Sgt. Peter Trimble at 416-808-7400, extension 77394.
