OTTAWA - Federal health officials have announced a recall of Baby Move brand of prune juice because of possible salmonella contamination.

The Prune Concentrate with Prebiotics is sold in 120 millilitre glass bottles and packaged in individual boxes, bearing UPC 729609019878.

The dietary supplement was sold at Nature's Emporium in Newmarket, Ontario, from January 2012 to July 2012.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the drink.

The agency says it is monitoring the voluntary recall announced by the importer, Nature's Emporium.

The Canadian recall follows a similar move by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration last week.
