About 30 firefighters were called in to battle a one-alarm blaze at a vacant building in the city’s west end early Sunday morning.

The fire broke out in the building near Dundas and Jane streets at around 12:30 a.m. and took about three hours to get under control due to heavy winds that fed the flames.

No injuries were reported as a result.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and crews remain on scene putting out hot spots.
