A 75-year-old woman has died in hospital after she was struck by a York Region Transit bus in Richmond Hill on Tuesday morning.
Police say the woman was crossing the road near Lorne Avenue and Yonge Street when she was struck at around 11:30 a.m.
She was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition but later died from her injuries.
The bus driver remained at the scene of the accident and the investigation is ongoing, York Regional Police say.
