NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. -- A 20 year old West Lincoln man is dead after a single vehicle crash in Wainfleet Township.
Niagara Region Police say he was westbound on Lakeshore Road last night when he failed to make a curve, lost control and rolled his Volkswagen Golf.
They say the man was thrown from the vehicle and that despite the rescue efforts of witnesses, area neighbours, and emergency services personnel died at the scene.
Three other people in the car, two 19 year old men and an 18 year old girl, were treated at Welland County General Hospital for minor injuries and later released.
The accident is still under investigation and the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
