A 36-year-old Mississauga man who had been missing since leaving his home to go kayaking two days ago has died in hospital after being pulled from Lake Ontario earlier this morning, Peel Regional Police confirm.
Timothy Kelley was located by Toronto police near Tommy Thompson Park on Saturday morning and taken to a trauma centre in grave condition.
Police had been searching for Kelly since he failed to return home from a planned kayak trip down the Credit River on Thursday.
According to Toronto police, the man pulled from Lake Ontario was found wearing a lifejacket.
