One person has been arrested after police said a man was reportedly seen firing a weapon at two other people in the city’s Carlton Village neighbourhood on Tuesday.
It happened near St. Clair Avenue and Osler Street, near Old Weston Road, shortly before 5 p.m.
Officers received multiple calls about the sound of gunshots in the area and witnesses reported seeing a male suspect shooting as he was running. According to reports from the scene, it appears the suspect was shooting at two other men.
A 28-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident and police said a firearm was recovered.
No injuries were reported.
