Newmarket house fire under investigation

Investigators are probing the cause of an early-morning house fire at a vacant house in Newmarket.

The blaze, which is considered suspicious, broke out in a home on William Roe Boulevard, near Yonge Street and Mulock Drive.

It’s believed no one was inside the house when fire crews arrived. A car was parked in the driveway.

Firefighters were notified shortly after 2 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
