Hamilton police say they've made an arrest in the city's latest homicide.
They say they were summoned to a shooting at around 3 a.m.Thursday and found a man suffering from serious injuries in the driveway of a home.
He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they took a person into custody and say there are no threats to public safety.
Neither the name of the victim or the person under arrest has been released, though police did say the victim did not live at the home.
They say Highway 56 was expected to be closed for much of the day between Golf Club Road and Regional Road 20 as they continued to investigate.
