Former mayoral candidate Sarah Thomson will again throw her hat in the ring for Toronto’s top job, according to a release issued Wednesday night.

Thomson is expected to file her papers to officially enter the mayoral race Thursday morning at city hall.

Thomson ran for mayor in the 2010, but later withdrew from the race to throw her support behind George Smitherman.

Last March Thomson accused current Toronto Mayor Rob Ford of behaving oddly and making suggestive comments before inappropriately touching her during a political dinner. Ford denied the allegations.
