TORONTO - Ontario has confirmed another death associated with the swine flu, bringing the known national total to 21.
  
A 68-year-old man from Durham Region, east of Toronto, tested positive for the H1N1 flu virus.

On Tuesday, local health officials confirmed that a 17-year-old boy from the Ottawa region and a 52-year old woman from eastern Ontario had also tested positive.

Today, the province said it's not clear what role swine flu played in those three fatalities.

Ontario now has seven deaths associated with swine flu and more than 2,665 cases.

Across Canada, there have been more than 5,700 confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus, with most of the cases considered mild.
