A 33-year-old man is dead as a result of a violent overnight crash in Mississauga.
The collision happpened on the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 at Highway 407 at around 1:35 a.m.
Ontario Provincial Police say the driver of a Volkswagen lost control and struck a steel guide raile on the westbound entrance ramp to Highway 407.
The impact sent the car rolling over into a ditch. The man was ejected from the vehicle in the process.
Marko Stefanovic, an Etobicoke resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger -- a 28-year-old Mississauga woman -- suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Sunnybrook hospital for treatment. However, her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
