A pedestrian crossing Spadina Avenue, south of Dundas Street, suffered only minor injuries after being struck by a southbound TTC streetcar on Sunday evening.
Emergency crews raced to the area after receiving dozens of 911 calls from people before 6 p.m.
Police say the victim is lucky, because he bounced off the front of the 510-streetcar and was dragged under its wheels.
He has been taken to hospital for some bumps and bruises, but is expected to make a full recovery.
