Fire guts townhouse
A Richmond Hill townhouse may be a complete write-off after it was gutted by fire Saturday night.
The fire began around 7:30 p.m. in the attic of a building on Castle Rock Drive near Carrville and Avenue Rd.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries fighting the blaze.
Fire officials say at least one of the units cannot be salvaged
Woman dies after Burlington Skyway crash
A 49-year-old St. Catherines woman has died in hospital, one day after being involved in a two car collision on the Burlington Skyway.
Maria Jimenez-Falardo was one of five people hospitalized as a result of the crash.
Two have since been released.
