The Toronto Airport Drug Enforcement Unit has busted a drug-smuggling ring that was using Pearson International Airport to import large amounts of cocaine into Canada.

A ten-month investigation dubbed "Project Oflyer" ended Monday with the seizure of high-end vehicles, more than $100,000 in cash and 10 kilograms of cocaine worth an estimated $1 million on the street.

In total, 13 people from across the GTA have been arrested and are facing a long list of drug-related charges.

Police believe the smuggling organization used toiletry bottles to import cocaine from South America.
