Toronto Police are hoping a big reward of $50,000 will generate some leads in an unsolved murder case from last summer.

Michael George, 25, was shot to death while sitting in his Chevrolet Malibu on Wilcox Creek Pathway, near Sheppard Avenue and Morningside Avenue in Scarborough on July 29, 2007.

Detectives hope the reward will lead to evidence to identify the killer who shot George in his driveway.

Last Thursday, a children's playground was built in George's memory in the Wilcox Creek complex.
